Ponsse’s change negotiations have ended

PONSSE PLC, PRESS RELEASE, 30 OCTOBER 2026 AT 3:40 P.M. EET

On 20 October 2026, Ponsse invited its personnel in Finland to participate in change negotiations in accordance with the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings. The negotiations were held with employee representatives during week 44, and they ended in good agreement.

Possible adjustment measures were discussed in the negotiations to enable Ponsse to prepare for the weakened market situation for 2027.

During the negotiations, it was agreed that Ponsse will prepare for temporary layoffs for a maximum of 90 days in 2027. Possible temporary layoffs apply to all Ponsse Plc’s personnel in Finland. Ponsse's subsidiary Epec Oy was not in the scope of the negotiations.

“More detailed plans will be made in the functions based on the situation, and the possible adjustment measures do not mean a continuous 90-day temporary layoff for the entire personnel. We will always ensure that we can continue to serve our customers as usual in all circumstances,” says Ponsse’s President and CEO Juho Nummela.
