Ponsse once again one of the most reputable companies in Finland

Ponsse is the second most reputable company in Finland in 2022, behind the game development company Supercell and ahead of the lift and escalator company Kone.

T-Media’s annual Reputation&Trust survey identifies the reputation of companies operating in Finland in the minds of Finnish people. Ponsse has been in the top three since 2017 – a total of six times during the reputation survey’s ten-year history. This year, Ponsse’s reputation was rated excellent, at 4.06. The other top three companies also received excellent scores: Supercell 4.11 and Kone 4.06. A total of 11,663 Finnish people participated in this year’s survey.

Crises call for good leadership and employer qualities

The reputation survey’s impact analyses show that as a result of the challenging global situation, good leadership and images of companies as employers have an even more significant effect on building trust and stakeholder support among citizens. In its surveys, T-Media has also seen that the ownership structure is linked to reputation. Every year, the top five typically includes three or four companies that have a background of family ownership.

“Ponsse’s employees are our key assets, and everyone’s role as part of operations and the big picture is important. Thanks for this recognition go to all our employees who manufacture the world’s best forest machines in times both good and challenging, and keep our customers’ machines up and running across the world in the ever-changing environment,” says Jarmo Vidgrén, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Organisations were evaluated using T-Media’s Reputation&Trust survey model, in which each organisation’s reputation score is the average of eight dimensions: governance, financial performance, leadership, innovation, dialogue, products and services, workplace, and responsibility. The survey used a five-step evaluation scale (1–5), and the results are based on a survey conducted in May–July 2022.
