PONSSE AND MUNICIPALITY OF VIEREMÄ DRAW UP BUSINESS PREMISES ARRANGEMENT

Ponsse Oyj and the municipality of Vieremä are drawing up a business premises
arrangement whereby the municipality will build and lease production premises
to Ponsse Oyj.

It is planned to build the premises at Ponsse Oyj’s Vieremä factory in two
stages in 2005 and 2006.

The extension will provide Ponsse with the facilities it needs to increase
the production capacity of new machinery and service parts.

The local council will ultimately decide whether Vieremä will be involved
in the project when it meets on 18 February 2005.
