Einari Vidgrén Foundation rewarded forestry professionals for the 15th time
Einari Vidgrén Foundation, named after the founder of Ponsse Plc, rewarded distinguished forestry experts. In total, the awards amounted to EUR 212,300. The main recognition is the Einari Award, which was given to Kimmo Kulojärvi Oy and Metsäkone Pirinen Oy. The Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to Olavi Kauhanen, Pekka Poikolainen, and Mikko Rysä. At the same time, 39 distinguished forest machine operators and 33 harvesting graduates were presented with awards.

Ponsse is planning significant investments in the development of digital business. The company will open vacancies for ten positions in digital development as part of its extensive development of digital services. The significance of data-based services is increasing. 16,000th PONSSE forest machine completed
The 16,000th PONSSE forest machine was completed in the end of September at Ponsse’s factory in Vieremä, Finland. The PONSSE Ergo harvester delivered to Celulose Nipo-Brasileira S.A. (CENIBRA) will operate at eucalyptus plantations in Brazil to meet the needs of local pulp production.

Ponsse once again the most reputable company in Finland
For the third year in succession, Ponsse has been selected as the most reputable company in Finland in the annual Reputation&Trust survey. In the top three, Ponsse was followed by game development company Supercell, while Fazer came in third. A total of 8,974 Finns participated in the survey.

New version of PONSSE Manager improves reporting of machine chain productivity
PONSSE Manager 1.7 presents forwarder production reporting, a function highly requested by customers, alongside the system’s other top features. As a new feature, PONSSE Manager displays the progress of work areas in a separate graph, showing harvester production and forwarder production relative to the total estimated volume of the work area in question.

A new retailer for Ponsse in Romania
Ponsse Plc has a new retailer in Romania. IRUM is the official retailer of Ponsse since the beginning of April 2020, responsible for the sale and maintenance of PONSSE forest machines. The change is carried out to strengthen the after-sales service for PONSSE customers in Romania.
