Ponsse signs partnership agreement with Hytar Oy

Ponsse Oyj, Manuli Rubber Industries S.p.a. and Hytar Oy have signed a three
party agreement, the objective of which is to achieve long-term cooperation and
improve competitiveness. Operating globally, Manuli Rubber Industries is the
leading manufacturer of hydraulic hoses and connectors in Europe, and whose
products are known for their high quality. Hytar Oy is Manuli’s system partner
in Finland and Russia. Hytar has over 35 years of experience as a supplier of
hydraulic components and systems; it is specialised in connector components for
oil hydraulics.

partnership network that will guarantee the high quality of our products. We are
looking for partners who meet our high quality requirements and are able to
respond to the needs of our customer controlled production. The aim of this
partnership is to achieve high quality for hydraulic hose assemblies and improve
delivery performance in forest machine production in Ponsse’s Vieremä factory.
Vieremän Toimitilat Oy will build production facilities for Hytar Oy in the
Vieremä business park for partner companies, which is currently being
constructed in the immediate vicinity of Ponsse’s factory. The close location
will ensure the flexibility of our production and decrease our storage needs.
The agreement also enables more active product development cooperation. We will
be able to respond to future challenges better than before and ensure that the
best technologies are utilised. Forest machines are operated in the most
challenging conditions in the world. This agreement enables our customers to
reach even higher utilisation rates,” says Arto Tiitinen, President and CEO of
