Ponsse’s cooperation negotiations have ended

PONSSE PLC PRESS RELEASE, 28 OCTOBER 2025 AT 12:00 P.M. EET

On 22 October 2025, Ponsse invited its personnel in Finland to participate in change negotiations in accordance with the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings. The negotiations were held with employee representatives on Monday, 27 October, 2025, and they ended in good agreement. Possible adjustment measures were discussed in the negotiations to enable Ponsse to prepare for the weakened market situation for 2026.

During the negotiations, it was agreed that Ponsse will prepare for temporary layoffs for a maximum of 90 days in 2026. Possible temporary layoffs apply to all Ponsse Plc’s personnel in Finland. Ponsse's subsidiary Epec Oy was not in the scope of the negotiations.

The company will adjust its production through the temporary layoffs arranged according to a separate plan starting from January 2026. The potential temporary layoffs related to salaried employees and senior salaried employees will be reviewed during 2026. More detailed plans will be prepared according to the situation.

We will make sure that we can serve our customers in all situations as normal.
