Petri Härkönen appointed CFO of Ponsse Plc

Petri Härkönen, M.Sc. (Tech.), has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of
Ponsse Plc, effective from 1 October 2009. In his new position, Härkönen will be
responsible for the financial management and financing of the Group.

Härkönen moves to his new job from Suunto Oy, where he held the position of
Director, Operations and Quality. Härkönen becomes a member of the Management
Team of Ponsse Plc, and he reports to President and CEO Juho Nummela. CFO
Härkönen will be based in Vieremä.
