Ponsse now serves customers in Southern Finland even better
Ponsse is renewing its service network in Finland and further improving its services. The spare parts offering at the Tampere service center is expanding, and the opening event of Loppi service center will be held on Friday, 20 February 2026.
“Customers in Southern Finland will now be served even better than before, as we are expanding the spare parts selection at the Tampere service center and opening the new service center in Loppi. The new Loppi center will enable a wider range of maintenance work and a larger spare parts offering,” says Jani Liukkonen, Country Manager for Ponsse Finland.
“The service network in Southern Finland is now significantly stronger overall, and service distances will improve because the area will have two strong service centers. In addition, customers are supported by the contract service providers Konehuolto P. Kula Oy and Sasuco Oy,” Liukkonen continues.
Customer service strengthens, and service capacity increases
“The service capacity in the Loppi area is improving, as the new facilities include two machine bays, modern equipment for heavy machinery maintenance and a dedicated washing station. The total floor area is 950 square metres. The team has grown by two employees, and Loppi now has six full-time professionals in forest machine maintenance and sales. The new staff will enhance customer service by enabling more flexible coordination of maintenance work,” says Pertti Rönkkö, After Sales Manager for Ponsse Finland.
With excellent transport connections, the Loppi service center offers spare parts, forestry equipment, machine sales, field maintenance services and a Ponsse Shop. The new facility is about 20 kilometers from the current premises in Hyvinkää.
Development of Tampere services and expansion of spare parts selection
The services at the Tampere service center are also becoming more diverse, and the spare parts offering is expanding simultaneously.
“We will expand the spare parts selection during this spring, which will result in even better service for our customers. As operations in Loppi become more efficient, we can also improve service availability in the Tampere region and thus respond more effectively to the needs of the whole of Southern Finland,” Rönkkö adds.
The Tampere service center provides spare parts and forestry equipment, machine sales, field maintenance and a Ponsse Shop. The center currently has 15 service professionals.
“Developing Finland’s most extensive service network is part of Ponsse’s customer-oriented approach. Strengthening the Southern Finland region is one of the latest examples of our long-term work to benefit our customers,” Liukkonen summarizes.
