Ponsse wins more orders from China

Ponsse has agreed to deliver a total of 22 cut-to-length method forest machines
to China. The deal concerns PONSSE forest machines as well as training and
maintenance services related to use of the products. The products will be
delivered to China's Yangxin Eurasia Group Ltd during 2008. Yangxin Eurasia
Group Ltd operates in the harvesting and wood processing industry. The deal
includes PONSSE forest machines to be manufactured at Ponsse's Vieremä factory
in Finland and Ponsse's Chinese subsidiary Ponsse China Ltd. will be
responsible for the training of operators.

need for harvested trees in the area is increasing due to forest industry

Ponsse Oyj established two subsidiaries in Asia in November 2007: Ponsse Asia
Pacific Ltd and Ponsse China Ltd. Ponsse Asia Pacific Ltd is responsible for
the establishment and development of the Ponsse sales and maintenance network
in Asia and Oceania and it´s subsidiary Ponsse China Ltd is responsible for the
Ponsse sales, maintenance and training in China. Ponsse China Ltd´s
headquarters is located in Beihai.
