Investors chose Ponsse as the most reputable listed company

Ponsse is the most reputable listed company among retail investors, according to the Trust & Reputation 2025 Stock Exchange Companies survey conducted by Reputation and Trust Analytics.

Reputation and Trust Analytics investigated the reputation of publicly traded companies operating in Finland in May-June 2025 in cooperation with the Stock Exchange Foundation and the Finnish Shareholders' Association. A total of 9,633 private investors responded to the survey.

In the Trust & Reputation research model, a reputation number is calculated for each organisation on a scale of 1–5. Ponsse's reputation figure was 4.15.

– Thank you for the great recognition, and we are extremely proud of it. This vote of confidence is a big deal for all of us at Ponsse. It reflects the long-term work we have done together with our customers and partners. Ponsse founder Einari Vidgren aptly said at the time: "Alone, no one is anything, but with a good team, you get the best result". This principle guides us further, says Jarmo Vidgren, Chairman of the Board of Ponsse.

The survey also asked which respondents rated the best CEO of the listed company. Ponsse's Juho Nummela was ranked ninth on this list.

Organizations were evaluated using a research model, in which the organization's reputation score is formed as an average of eight different subareas. The areas are corporate governance, finance, management, innovation, interaction, products & services, workplace and responsibility. The study used a five-step assessment scale (1–5).

– Engineering industry performed excellently in the reputation survey. Stock investors appreciate that companies communicate openly about the order backlog, future prospects and the effects of changes in the operating environment, says Sari Lounasmeri, CEO of the Stock Exchange Foundation.
