Industrial counsellor Heikki Hortling, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ponsse Plc, died on Sunday 10 April at his home in Iisalmi at the age of 65. Heikki Hortling acted as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Olvi Oyj.

Heikki Hortling was a member of the Board of Directors of Ponsse since 31 March 2010 and acted as its Vice Chairman since 26 October 2010. During his membership, Hortling had a significant impact on the long-term development of Ponsse.

Ponsse Plc will select members of the company's Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held tomorrow on 12 April 2016. The Board of Directors will hold a meeting after the Annual General Meeting to select a Chairman and Vice Chairman from among its members.
