PONSSE UPGRADES ITS OUTLOOK FOR 2017 EURO-DENOMINATED OPERATING PROFIT DEVELOPMENT

PONSSE UPGRADES ITS OUTLOOK FOR 2017 EURO-DENOMINATED OPERATING PROFIT DEVELOPMENT

Due to good first half-year and very strong third quarter Ponsse Group´s euro-denominated operating profit is expected to be slightly higher in 2017 than in 2016.

The previous guidance stated the Group's euro-denominated operating profit to be at the same level in 2017 as it was in 2016.

Ponsse's strongly updated and competitive product range and new service solutions have had a significant impact on the company's growth. The market situation has continued to be particularly positive and the demand for PONSSE forest machines has been better than expected towards the end of the year. The Russian market in particular is extremely brisk. The market situation in United States, in the Nordic countries and in Germany and France in Central Europe is also good.
