Juha Vidgrén was awarded Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland on Finland’s Independence Day

Last week, Finland’s official orders declared the recipients of decorations on Finland’s Independence Day. Juha Vidgrén, member of Ponsse’s Board of Directors, was awarded Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland.

“Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland is first and foremost a recognition of our activities and the forest industry, where I have been able to work together with our employees and customers. The award is also a recognition of the cooperation that we at Ponsse have established regionally with municipalities, towns, the education sector, associations and clubs”, Juha Vidgrén says, expressing his thanks.

Juha Vidgrén was “knighted” Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland on Finland’s 103rd Independence Day on 6 December 2020. Sauli Niinistö, President of the Republic of Finland, Grand Master of the Order of the White Rose of Finland and the Order of the Lion of Finland, confers decorations to distinguished individuals. The Order of the Lion of Finland is both a military and civilian order. Commander is the third highest recognition of the Order of the Lion of Finland.

Heartfelt congratulations to Juha!
