A big thank you to all FinnMETKO 2012 visitors! Once again, the fair achieved a visitor record. Thanks to a warm and easy-going logging site atmosphere, the Ponsse stand was very busy, from Thursday to Saturday. We're grateful to all the visitors of our section and the Used Machine Days.
The selection of 17 new PONSSE machines at the Ponsse stand and 27 used machines at the used machine section. The Ponsse stand had four work exhibitions daily, and a great interest to large crowds was e.g. the PONSSE Buffalo 10w.
In addition to coffee and bun, our tent included activities for children, Ponsse Ladies, PONSSE Simulators, and product exhibitions and offers. From Ponsse Shop visitors could purchase Ponsse Collection clothes and other products.
The title of logging champion 2012 was also decided at FinnMetko 2012. The results of the logging championship competition 2012:
1. Juhani Hirvonen 6.9 s / 11.3 cm (1.64 cm/s)
2. Raimo Vastamaa 6.49 s / 9.1 cm (1.40 cm/s)
3. Sami Marin 6.2 s / 8.3 cm (1.34 cm/s)
Ponsse Ladies voted for Tero Pitkämäki as the most jovial “logger” of the year in the real logging site atmosphere.
