Opti family OptiControl
The system and electronically controlled Mercedes-Benz engine used in Ponsse machines give Ponsse a top performance ability in a class of its own. Opti Control integrates all aspects of machine operation, such as control of the crane, harvester head, levers and buttons, drive transmission and Mercedes-Benz diesel engine, as well as the Opti4G information system and measuring device, into one easily managed whole.The smoothly integrated efficiency of the mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and software technologies renders machine control precise and cost-efficient. Operators can input their personal control settings through the Opti4G system and activate them for their work shifts. The user and Ponsse service personnel are aided by the fact that all of the measurement variables and settings related to machine operation can be read from the same display screen. The system also regulates fuel consumption and only draws as much power from the engine as is needed.
