Ponsse's 10-wheeled forwarder carries a normal-sized load from the forest in an environmentally friendly manner, as the same amount of wood can be transported from the forest with minimal harvesting damage and fuel consumption. Thanks to the cost-efficient 10w kit, there is no absolute need for new investments, as older PONSSE standard forwarders can be transformed into soft terrain specialists. The kit can be installed onto PONSSE Buffalo, PONSSE Wisent and PONSSE Elk forwarders. Changing the 10w kit is very fast after the first installation, and can be easily done in different terrains. The time needed to change the kit corresponds to that of installing or removing the tracks. And most importantly: the structure is simple, reliable and maintenance-free.
