Ponsse Road Show 2007, UK, Scotland/Moffat

The second Ponsse International Road Show destination in the UK was Moffat, in Scotland. The Forestry Commission's stand provided the Bear with an impressive logging site in the sweltering (+28 C) summer weather. This was the first time the extremely powerful PONSSE Elephant was presented in Great Britain. Its tractive force is just perfect for challenging terrain like that in the UK. The visit to Moffat was no exception among Road Show events: the UK contractors who came to the show were very interested in the new heavy-duty size products.

During the two-day demonstration we delivered the first PONSSE Bear harvester in the UK market to our customer Mike Gillett and his family. Mike was our first customer in Great Britain, and has continued to be so for 15 years now.
