Ponsse RoadShow in Latvia: Liepaja

At the beginning of February, the Ponsse International Road Show 2007 arrived in Latvia. On Tuesday the 6th February, the machines and the touring truck were in Rezekne, and on Friday the 9th, it was time to visit Liepaja.  The event was organised in cooperation with the Baltic region retailer, Kesko Machinery.  The events set the Baltic forest professionals' wheels in motion with both locations attracting a crowd of about 250.  Kesko Machinery provided excellent facilities for the events and all the arrangements ran smoothly. 

Almost all PONSSE models were shown in the logging demonstrations, with the new PONSSE Bear arousing special interest among the visitors. The Bear was really able to demonstrate its strengths among the sturdy-branched trees in Liepaja. Mr. Kai Laaja, the owner of the machine and a Ponsse customer, was in the driver's seat. He once again impressed the gathered spectators of his skill.  During Ponsse tours we are well used to selling our machines, and the tour in Latvia was no exception.
