PONSSE ROAD SHOW JOINS THE FESTIVITIES AT THE OPENING OF THE SERVICE CENTRE AT STEMMEN

The Ponsse Road Show arrived in Germany to the opening of a new Service Centre by our retailers Wahlers Forsttechnik GmbH, 20 to 21 April. The weather favoured our arrangements and over the two days almost 800 guests visited Stemmen!  Wahlers had worked hard for the event's success – this family company has what it takes!

Present were the PONSSE machines, and for contractors there was a seminar on the near future challenges in product development. Experts were represented by the sharpest minds in Ponsse's product development, Risto Vidgren and Tuomo Moilanen. Once again, the Bear made a powerful impression at the near-by work demonstration area.  Demand for the Bear was high! 

The entertainment side was looked after by a showy orchestra of pirate drummers, a German brass band and a Bavarian dance company with axes and logs.  In true German style, local beer and sausages were on offer for the nourishment of the guests.

An international flavour to the event was added by the participation of our Canadian retailer A.L.P.A. Equipment Ltd. with their customers. In addition to their test drives, Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen also had time to visit the logging site to acquaint themselves with the new PONSSE product. From Stemmen, the pair made for Sardinia for test driving and from there on towards the rally in Argentina.
