Ponsse North America, Inc. is a subsidiary company of Ponsse Oyj, a Finnish publicly traded company located at Vieremä, Finland. Ponsse Oyj is currently marketing Ponsse Cut-to-Length equipment all over the world having subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, France, Great Britain, USA, Russia, Brazil and dealers in numerous countries. Ponsse has three (3) manufacturing plants in Finland. One plant has our corporate headquarters, sales, engineering and manufacturing of Ponsse logging equipment, two other factories in Kajaani and Seinäjoki (Epec Oy) engineer and manufacture measuring and computing systems and other electronic components of our equipment.
At the end of 1995 Ponsse established a subsidiary, Ponsse NA, Inc. in USA. Our head office moved from Atlanta to Rhinelander, Wisconsin August 1997. In spring of 2003 we opened our brand new facility in Rhinelander. We have also in Rhinelander a well-trained spare parts and service center. Our other branch offices are located in Bastrop, Louisiana, Gladstone and Gaylord, Michigan and Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
